May has kept us hopping at Pleasant View and we’ve had a blast!
We’ve had outings, parties, visitors, activities, and more!
Our outings included McPherson county’s All Schools Day parade, a trip to Stutzman’s Garden Center and lunch at The Dutch Kitchen, and a trip to a bison reserve.

We celebrated the mothers with a Mother’s Day Tea, complete with fancy hats!

May is also National Nursing Home Week, so we took full advantage of that to have a full week of fun! We tie dyed, had movie day featuring the original Top Gun, and snacked our way through the week. Some other nursing home week highlights included karaoke, water wars, lawn games and a visit by some farm animals courtesy of our Admissions Coordinator Jodi!

We capped the week with a car show. We loved seeing all the different cars and enjoyed time together on the patio and soaking in the beautiful spring day.

After Inman held their city wide garage sale day, we received a large donation of stuffed animals, so we dedicated a Bingo day to the stuffys. Who doesn’t love a soft snuggle? Everyone was able to “adopt” a stuffy of their own. Bingo and Ice cream makes for a pretty great Tuesday afternoon!

This spring has brought us some of the best Kansas has to offer, weather-wise. We’ve been taking full advantage of being outdoors as much as possible. Part of that has been patio games, like Jumbo Jenga. Staff and residents enjoyed playing with and against each other!

What a May!! In addition to all the fun, we’ve made time for Chapel and visiting with Inman Elementary School students.

We started summer with a bang! Stay tuned for more adventures, wanderings, laughs, and memories being made. You have a front row seat to the fun!
